What is De Maine Wealth Management’s financial planning process?

The planning process is designed to help you help bring order and reason to your financial affairs. By employing a comprehensive process, you can integrate your financial decisions with your broader life goals.

During the process we will carefully examine the details of your financial situation. This process may address:

  • Your current financial position including net worth  - Detailing your assets and liabilities and calculating your net worth.  This will serve as a gauge over time to measure your progress.
  • Personal Goals, Objectives - To clarify, quantify and document your personal and financial goals including legacy issues.
  • Retirement Planning - To include cash flow projections and distribution tax advantaged strategies.
  • Income Tax Planning and management - We will work with you and your tax professional to provide strategies that seek to help maximize your net returns
  • Capital Needs Analysis – To determine what you need to do to retire and/or pursue other funding goals.  Using a variety of assumptions, we test different scenarios and guide you in making your decisions. This may include insurance and protection planning
  • Strategic Investment Review – To review your existing investments (both your taxable and tax-deferred accounts) to evaluate the design and implementation of your total portfolio. We assess your investment strategy and risk profile relative to your financial goals and objectives. Finally, we recommend a personalized asset allocation for your total portfolio. If you engage us to manage your investments, we will develop your personal Investment Policy Statement, make specific investment recommendations, initiate trades, and monitor and report on your portfolio.
  • Deferred Compensation and Stock Options Planning – To help you understand your stock options, deferred compensation, restricted stock rights, and related corporate benefits.

The result is a comprehensive, individual wealth management process

All investing, including stocks, involves risk including loss of principal. No strategy, including asset allocation, assures success or protects against loss.
