Mark M. De Maine, MSA
Mark founded De Maine Wealth Management in 2001 with a mission of delivering trusted guidance free from the mandates and proprietary asset requirements of banks and asset managers. He built the firm the old-fashioned way – by knocking on doors and doing the right thing day after day. Over 25 years, his relationships with clients have evolved into close friendships, allowing him to provide trusted, personalized guidance driven by each client’s needs.
Prior to founding De Maine Wealth Management, Mark gained extensive experience in wealth and financial management as a financial advisor at Edward Jones and as an assistant vice president of investments at Bank of America Investments.
He also draws on 10 years of small business experience as a marketing manager, territory manager and financial representative with several Fortune 500 companies. Mark provided growth and development support to John Deere and other equipment dealers across the northeast and southeast. This experience provides him with valuable insight into the needs and challenges of small business owners.
Mark has also been shaped by the death of his father, who passed away from ALS in 2005. This experience gave him first-hand insight into the challenges of transitioning an estate, allowing him to compassionately support clients with legacy planning, elder care, intergenerational education, and trust creation and resolution.
Mark has a master’s degree in finance and business administration from Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Mark lives with his wife, Peg, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He maintains a residence and still spends time in Suwanee, Georgia, where he originally built the business. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time in nature, tennis, golf and quality time with his family.
